Welcome to Orchard Springs Elementary! 🦉 We're so excited to have you here. This is a place where our community can connect, celebrate our students, and share in the journey of learning. Our Mission is to ensure that each student learns at high levels in a safe, supportive environment. At Orchard Springs, we have one core rule that guides everything we do: Orchard Springs owls respect ourselves, others, and their environment.

This simple but powerful idea teaches our students the importance of kindness, responsibility, and community. It's the heart of who we are!

During the month of March and April, our 5th-graders worked really hard on their wax museum research project. They were able to present their speeches for the school and their parents at the end of April. This is a fun activity that they look forward to doing each year.

Happy School Counselors Week to our Amazing Counselor, Mrs. Call! The kids also know her as Mrs. Peanut Butter. Here, she is teaching a lesson on perspective and point of view. She visits every class once a week and provides valuable life lessons they will carry with them long beyond OSE. She also coordinates our Hope Squad and offers individual and group support to many students. We LOVE you, Mrs. Call!

Mrs. Shuman's 2nd grade Readers Theaters. This is a great time of year to show-off our reading skills! My class did a wonderful job presenting to their parents - super good at reading their parts and following along while their classmates read their parts. Many were quite nervous but really stepped up and were amazing!
