Weber Hope Week

October 3rd through October 7th

The theme for HOPE week will be "Weber Strong Together". There is a specific focus each day.

Listed below you will see the activities Orchard Springs and the PTO have arranged for our students to participate in.

Monday | Belonging 

Students will write encouraging notes and post them in the school.

*Please join us in facilitating a community blackout at 8:00 pm by turning out as many of your lights as possible and then turning porch lights back on after you see the light on Ben Lomond at 8:45 pm.

Tuesday | Empathy 

Students will have the opportunity to write thank you notes to members of our community during their lunch break.

Wednesday | Growth Mindset  

Students will have the opportunity to participate in an activity during their lunch break.

*Please join us for a Community Night at Weber High School. There will be food trucks starting at 4:30 p.m.  There will be games and activities in the east parking lot form 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Casey Pehrson, an educator, will speak in the Weber High School library starting at 7:00 p.m.  The topic will be the S.E.L.F.I.E. method, which focuses on ways to enrich and improve mental health.

Thursday | Grit  

Students will complete the "What is Your Why" activity.

*Please bring the family and join us at North Ogden Junior High School from 4:30-7:00 p.m. for a Try It "Knight". Students will have the opportunity to try a variety of different activities.

Friday | Integrity 

Our students' futures are bright! Students will participate in a STEM Day at Orchard Springs where they will attend an assembly and have the opportunity to attend various presentations focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

Please encourage your child to talk about their activities during Hope Week. We definitely believe that our students have bright futures and are so excited to have the opportunity to work with them.
