Weber Hope Week

September 27th through October 1st

The theme for HOPE week will be "Weber United in Strength". There is a specific focus each day.

Listed below you will see the activities Orchard Springs and the PTO have arranged for our students to participate in.

Monday

HOPE makes us Strong - Pass out decals and watch introductory video from the Orchard Springs Hope Squad.

*Please join us in facilitating a community blackout at 8:30 pm by turning out as many of your lights as possible and then turning porch lights back on after you see the light on Ben Lomond at 8:45 pm.

*Information about "Light Up the Night"

Tuesday: 

Inner Strength - Students will listen to a story and then write a positive thing that describes themselves in the hand art.

*Please feel free to join us at Orion Junior High School for a Mental Health Screening Night from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm for students 6-18 years old.

Wednesday:  

School Strength - The theme at school this year is Together We Fly Higher. Our students will be teaming up to leave sticky notes with positives written on them around the school.

*Please join us for a Community Night at Weber High School. There will be food trucks and activities in the east parking lot from 5:30-7:00 pm. Jeff Griffin, a Paralympian and Author, will speak in the auditorium from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Thursday:  

Community Strength- We live in a great community where service abounds. Students will be making thank you cards that will be delivered to different entities in the community.

*Please bring the family and join us at North Ogden Junior High School from 5:30-7:30 pm for a Try It "Knight". Students will have the opportunity to try a variety of different activities.

Friday:  

Future Strength- Our students' futures are bright! Students will participate in a STEM Day at Orchard Springs where they will attend an assembly and have the opportunity to attend various presentations focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

Please encourage your child to talk about their activities during Hope Week. We definitely believe that our students have bright futures and are so excited to have the opportunity to work with them.
